About Me:  I'm 33 years young with a former career in the food and beverage industry under my belt.  I grew up in Macon, Georgia, lived by the beach in Charleston, South Carolina for a few years, explored Argentina for a few months before settling in New York City in 2012.  I found my way into my first yoga class right after my 24th birthday and became hooked to the elements of self awareness during movement. I became certified to teach in 2015 and because of my own inflexible body type, I found myself loving teaching yoga specifically to those who thought they couldn’t do it: to the injured, the overweight, the inflexible, the older, the men. I now spend my time between one-on-one Movement Coaching sessions, teaching corporate yoga classes, and teaching Functional Yoga classes at a few Brooklyn studio locations. I love to travel and cook, spend time outdoors, and I live with my partner in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.

Training: I'm an E-RYT 200 Hour Yoga Alliance certified instructor through Jata Veda Yoga in Brooklyn, NY and have spent almost 300 additional hours learning from Leslie Kaminoff at The Breathing Project. I am a certified Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist, I work closely with Jenn Pilotti of BeWell Personal Training as one of her mentees, and I will be embarking on a 300 Hour training next year from a teacher who has hugely influenced my career thus far, Jules Mitchell of Yoga Biomechanics.
